4 Thermal entanglement of spins in a nonuniform magnetic field
We study the effect of nonuniformities in the magnetic field on the thermal entanglement of a two spin system. We show that in the ferromagnetic case a very small nonuniformity is capable to produce large values of thermal entanglement. In the antiferromagnetic case, nonuniformity only slightly raises the threshold temperature, but lowers the value of entanglement.
متن کاملThermal Field Theory in Equilibrium
Thermal field theory has applications in many areas of physics and one of those is the early Universe. There is an excess of matter over antimatter in the present Universe. Unless this was an initial condition in the Big Bang Scenario, this baryon asymmetry must have been created during the evolution of the Universe. According to Sakarov’s three criteria for baryogenesis, the Universe must have...
متن کاملEffective Two-loop Thermodynamic Potential with Fermions in the real-time formalism of thermal field theory
Within the real-time formalism (RTF) of thermal field theory, we apply the hard thermal loop (HTL) resummation technique to calculating effective two-loop thermodynamic potential in quark-gluon plasma (QGP) and its renormalization. The result with collective effects is obtained, which is valid for an arbitrary number of quark flavors with masses. Keyword: quark-gluon plasma (QGP); finite temper...

This interpolation is no more and no less than the numerical solution of the Laplace equatio...
متن کاملThermal Pions and Isospin Chemical Potential Effects
The density corrections, in terms of the isospin chemical potential μI , to the mass of the pions are investigated in the framework of the SU(2) low energy effective chiral invariant lagrangian. As a function of temperature and μI = 0, the mass remains quite stable, starting to grow for very high values of T , confirming previous results. However, the dependence for a non-vanishing chemical pot...
